How to add Favicon to your blogger/blogspot site?

It is very easy to add favicon buttons to blogger and takes only a few minutes. Once you add a Favicon to your blogger/blogspot site, it will appear on all browsers. 


What is a Favicon? 

The term "Favicon" is a compound word derived from "Favorite Icon." In a nutshell, a favicon is trade mark of your site. It's a small image or icon, by which readers and visitors can recognize/ differentiate your site from all other sites out their on the world of the internet. In blogger, your favicon must be a square image and less than 100KB in size.

If you have already prepared your favicon, let us do it, NOW! 

Please, follow the below steps. 

1. First of all sign into your Google email account that is associated with the blogger account to which you are going to add reaction buttons. If you have more than one blogger accounts associated with this Google email account, then click on the down arrow and choose the desired blog account from the drop-down menu as illustrated below.

2. Now, click on “Layout” as in the following picture.

3. On the Labout page, you will find "Favicon" on top of the layout sections. Under "Favicon" you will find an "Edit" button. Click on this “Edit” button.

4. After clicking the “Edit” button, a new box will pop-up on the top-left corner of your browser. Now, click on "Choose File" button and then find and select your previously prepared "Favicon" and add it.

5. After adding your "Favicon," click the save button as shown in the image below.

That’s it! Now, you have got a "Favicon" for  your site, which your readers and audience can separate/distinguish from other sites.
